I started coloring again...
I started coloring again. I feel like if I really wanted to, I could stop this post with that sentence but I won't. Last year, I went through one of the most difficult, "survival" periods of my adult life so far and it stunted my creativity. Usually, hardships are supposed to inspire an artist, right? Except this hardship stopped my creation and pushed surviving. Glad to say, I'm firmly out of that place now and I am so grateful for it. I don't wish to go back but now being o

The Long Game
Tonight's one of those nights... you know, the ones where nothing seems right, completed or within your reach? Maybe it's me just being 26(scary scary stuff)and going through that 'quarter life crisis' or maybe it's the culmination of all the times I'm too hard on myself and my life. Don’t give any energy. They don’t deserve parts of your life or attention they they

Nostalgia
nos·tal·gia | \ nä-ˈstal-jə , nə- also nȯ-, nō-; nə-ˈstäl- \ 1: the state of being homesick : HOMESICKNESS 2: a wistful or excessively sentimental yearning for return to or of some past period or irrecoverable condition I've been there before. It's actually a form of entrapment in my mind that I'm now realizing I need to escape from. The evils of nostalgia. They say too much of a good thing eventually becomes bad and this is a prime example. For so long- my entire life act
